Bottom line, I can't answer your question, Margaret. The test units are notoriously unreliable giving both false positives and negatives. However, I've never taken a test, and have no intention of ever taking one.

The inventor of the PCR test did say that it wasn't suitable for this particular purpose.

I was told that kids were putting orange juice onto the test units to get positives to avoid school, but I have no personal experience of this.

Well, the weird thing is, I have what you would call a slight head cold, a bit stuffy and snuffly. Nothing worse than that. But I did take a covid test and it showed positive, that was on Sunday. Now today , I tested myself again and it shows Clear. So whatever I was supposed to have showed up in the beginning , I don't know….
Keith is also got achy back but he is clear of covid.. I do keep the flow tests in the house in case I want to test myself , they are supposed to be 99%. accurate.. Folks don't bother wearing masks these days and what ever is going round spreads.

I'm not really a believer. All sorts of things can play tricks with your sight (and/or mind).

When we (UK and USA) were developing certain aircraft, the sighting of UFOs was encouraged to disguise what we were doing!

Wheelie bins, we have had some escorted away under the cover of darkness. Mine has gone a couple of times and once the bin was full. You do wait what seems an eternity for a replacement and that leaves you with the situation of either collecting lots of bags in a pile or filling your neighbours bins. It becomes a dilema for the one having had their bin taken in some way be it in the rubbish lorry or some charming person wandering in and just taking it and it becomes a dilema for the neighbours. I don't mind if some is put in by my immediate neighbours, however, I don't want to go down with a bag of rubbish to find the bin already full to the max and one bag - at the bottom, is mine. It would, however, be nice to be asked. I think that if the councils were asked the question, without a wheelie bin where am I supposed to put my rubbish? The just might be told to double bag it and leave it out. The danger of that is it could be ripped open and the content strewed. Far from ideal for anyone.

Shizara, I had mine taken during the last high winds. I assumed that someone had lost theirs so took mine! I contacted the council on Wednesday evening and awoke Friday morning to a nice new one on my doorstep. Rare praise from me for CCC.

Incidentally, I know of at least one local guy using wheelie bins to deliver logs, and knowing the gent concerned, I doubt he's bought them!
