Quote: Workers should pay into new flexible saving accounts to fund their own sick pay or unemployment benefits, Iain Duncan Smith has said. Source: The Times (need to pay for full story) Now, call me daft or what, but I thought we paid National Insurance for this? I've always been fortunate in that my employers would pay sick pay, but this strikes me as yet another back door tax/privatisation. This guy (who happens to be a proven liar) seriously worries me! |
