Quote: Iain Duncan Smith claims 200,000-strong campaign to reveal Tory benefits deaths is 'disgraceful' He's fighting a legal battle to keep the figures secret - yet the Work and Pensions Secretary claims Labour MPs are just 'frightening people' Daily Mirror link I actually find IDS an obnoxious, devious, lying, little toad. He won't reveal the truth (though I have no doubt he knows it) because the system is flawed and is a disgraceful monetary attack on the weakest in society. Like many others, I have no qualms about the real cheats being routed out, but that's not what's happening. Sadly, it's the easiest targets that are being focused on and that's what happens when you introduce a target derived system. |
