My provider is usually quite good (despite shoddy customer service), and automatically credit overpayments to my bill. Not something many utility companies do, apparently. |

I pay monthly for what I've used. It's not the cheapest way but leaves me in control. As a low KWh user, the effects of the obscene standing charge hurt me more than the average user. Almost 50% of my current bill is made up of the standing charge. |
