Best Pub in Warwickshire

I was talking to a young lady yesterday who is thinking about taking on a village pub. Bouncing ideas around, she said that she would gut it and create a completely new ambience. I did try to suggest caution, as the pub we were in had done this a few years back and had thrown out and destroyed a lot of irreplaceable history.

I agree that doing that can destroy the former ambience and history of a pub to the point of visiting it less or focussing on another old favourite.
