I'm sure the planned rail routes are already covered, I can't be certain.
I remember a few years ago, we took the train to Norwich, and we had two changes, the whole journey took 5 hours. I thought to myself, I have gone to Scotland in that time!

Sadly Beeching was allowed to destroy what was an excellent network. Whilst Beeching's methodology was seriously flawed, had the lines been left in place we might have been able to recover things.
HS2 is being trumpeted as essential for business, but surely businesses ought be making the most of improved telecommunications?
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
Given the green light to continue today.
This is going to cost us heavily.

Its a shame that this HS2 vanity project is going ahead. It seems hypocritical how Government and local officials are allowing the desecration of Warwickshire heritage while there was a fine of £160,000 on a Warwickshire family for damaging the heritage land of the ancient settlement Withybrook. I think HS2 bosses should also be fined likewise for the irreparable damage they are doing. The Historic England body are oddly quiet now.

Hardly inspiring are they?
