I see shades of TSR2 in this Lex.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

True cost of the Hs2 'enormously wrong'

He says the price tag Parliament was given for the high speed rail line was "hundreds of millions of pounds too low"

I guessed in the beginning that it would cost a trillion pounds and I still believe it will if it hasn't already.I'd love to see a breakdown of everything. We'd be shocked into a revolt.
I read somewhere that they-the so called experts derived much of their information from maps and measurements. Not dirtying their shoes by visiting sites to be demolished.

I've seen it happen often on fairly local sites where development has been scheduled to take place , where someone has requested a council member to 'come and have a real look at what's happening." All they were concerned about was the mud on their shiny shoes and car tyres. )

Never considering the ecology etc. and more importantly , disruption and displacement of peoples lives.
It only proves that none of us mean anything to governments.
Whole roads and villages -gone and what for?

Bit late for a 'consultation' now isn't it?

This is nothing more than a propaganda exercise to extol the 'virtues' of what is nothing more than a vanity project.
