    Energy companies make record profits, wholesale energy down by 80+%, and the 'regulator' thinks he's doing us a favour by dropping the price cap by a measly 7%. (But the standing charge might yet rise!) Wake up Britain, we're being taken for mugs!

    My provider is usually quite good (despite shoddy customer service), and automatically credit overpayments to my bill. Not something many utility companies do, apparently.

    I pay monthly for what I've used. It's not the cheapest way but leaves me in control.

    As a low KWh user, the effects of the obscene standing charge hurt me more than the average user. Almost 50% of my current bill is made up of the standing charge.
    Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
