CELEBRATIONS were in full swing to mark the unveiling of a Stratford care home’s new look.
Ambleside, on Evesham Road, has transformed its shared spaces and gardens.
And to mark the big reveal, residents, relatives and guests gathered for a celebration featuring live music, food and the official ribbon cutting – performed by Ambleside’s residents.
Adding to the excitement were live performances from Amy Price and Graham Powell, singing classic tunes that had everyone tapping their feet. Ambleside’s head chef also laid on a spread of dishes.
The new refurbishments include a cafe, hair and beauty salon and gardens for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Resident Daphne Beadle said: “I really enjoyed the celebrations and the entertainers were very good. I like the new refurbishment, it looks brighter and welcoming.”
Home manager Charlotte Levin added: “We’re delighted to unveil our beautifully refurbished home. Every enhancement has been carefully designed to create a warm, welcoming environment where residents can thrive, both socially and independently.
“Our celebration was a fantastic way to mark this exciting new chapter for Ambleside. With amazing performances from Amy and Graham, delicious food and the wonderful ribbon-cutting moment led by Jenny Sutton, it really was a day to remember.”
