Homes evacuated during 5G mast fire in Warwickshire

Homes on a quiet street in Rugby had to be evacuated this week after a 5G phone mast fire. The incident happened on Monday evening on Sunbeam Close.

Fire crews from two stations attended to tackle the blaze. However, smoke from it was so extensive local police were on hand to get people living nearby to safety.

The cause of the fire has not been shared at this stage, though police in the town are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious to come forward.
