I'd like to know if you know anyone who can install one of those collapsable posts in a driveway/parking bay, to stop other cars parking there. Thanks.

Installation is pretty straight forward. https://www.barriersdirect.co.uk/parking-posts-residential-c1087/parking-posts-folding-posts-c1089

I might have ranted about this before, but I'm getting a bit p***ed of with the news constantly telling us we're doomed. When the news finishes, the commercial break is full of adverts telling us:
1) We're going to die, so: 1a) buy some life insurance 1b) book your funeral
2) While you're waiting to die, release some equity in your home to: 2a) buy a stair lift & mobility scooter 2b) build a conservatory & replace your garage door
3) If you have any money left: 3a) play online bingo 3b) donate the rest to charity

I mainly just get news from the internet or news papers, I don't do that everyday though. I will not stand for crap or the media scaremongering or telling me how to live my life, what I need or should do for the future. No thanks.

I limit myself to headlines nowadays. Can't wait to go back to working full time.

Yes, I've watched it briefly a few times. I'm not entirely convinced it's not just a cheap UK version of Fox News yet. Al Jazeera seems to be the only news channel that doesn't have an agenda at the minute.

I've been looking online for a garden planter. Didn't realise how time consuming it is to find exactly the right size and quality. I have noticed since I bought some a few years back, the prices have gone up. All I want is something to put my small rose shrub in... a tub about 3ft in height, and 2 ft. wide. Cant find anything. well I seen something that was good on the height, but the width was stupidly small.

We have the honour(!) of being part of the UK's 1st Amber Warning for hot weather. Looks like we're stuck with it until the end of the week: https://www.stratford-herald.com/news/extreme-heat-warning-issued-as-temperatures-soar-9208135/
