If anyone is interested in abandoned villages, Wolfhampcote is one of the better examples as the only reminder is the redundant St Peter's church there which makes interesting exploring. The Church is now cared for by the Churches conservation trust.
Wolfhampcote was origionally a medeival settlement and was possibly deserted due to the black death around the 16th century.
