Even though there's less green waste over the winter, but it'll still build up: http://www.rugbyadvertiser.co.uk/news/environment/rugby-green-bin-collections-to-be-put-on-hold-for-three-months-at-christmas-1-7617007

Proposals to charge residents for green bin collections are still up for consideration

I thought that was already covered via council tax?

Incidentally, you may have missed that our wonderful government has given approval to raise council tax by 6% over two years, at the same time it approved giving itself yet another rise.

Looks like our green bin collection is still on going in our area up to the 25th of May.

As far as I know, charging for green bin collection hasn't been mooted in the Stratford area yet, but Rugby's probably given them the idea now!
Thankfully, it won't affect me if Stratford District Council do decide to introduce charges - all my green waste goes on my compost heap.
