A lot of other councils could learn from Leamington's parks.

I've only ever experienced a bit of the War Memorial Park - walking from the Park & Ride to the city centre, and it seemed to be ok - but that's all I've seen. What are the rest of the parks like?

Not a patch on Leamington.
When I was a kid, the parks were great and the keepers really took pride in their work. Sadly, those days are gone. Swanswell and Nauls mill parks (to name two) are shadows of their former selves despite money apparently being spent on them.
Most parks in Coventry are lucky to have the grass regularly mown these days, and other 'green' areas (local grass patches in streets etc.) often go 6 weeks between visits from the 'parks' department.
