In all honesty I don't believe that Islam is particularly compatible with many western cultures, so I do question why they settle here. If I was to emigrate to live in another country I'd want to integrate with their way of life and become 'one of them'. Muslims in particular don't seem to integrate, yet they demand 'rights' to carry on their own way of life: in many cases a way of life they allege they were trying to escape!

To be honest Rebbonk, it's all about the money when most people settle here.

A lot of these problems have their origins back when the old imperial powers drew arbitrary lines on maps, instead of letting ethnic groups rule themselves in their own areas of the Middle East & Africa, and let them get on with it.

Maybe this is is an opportunity to put things right.

Spot on Lex, but many are not aware of it. A lot of what we're seeing today is the result of past interference, plain stupidity and if I'm honest, exploitation.

I think it's far too late for that. Sadly, the world has moved on a long way. The genie is well and truly out of the bottle!
