 Unite removes ‘so far as may be lawfulÂ’ strike clause

I always think strikes are futile as you almost never recover the money that you lose by striking. However, I also recognise that withdrawal of labour is sometimes the only way. That said, I believe in abiding by (no matter how much I might disagree with it) the law of the land.

I think I see trouble brewing...

Strikes are often the only lever the working class have to put right unfairness. OK ,it doesn't always work and folk are worse off, but it makes employers aware that they can't dictate as easily as in the past and we will fight.
If [I]they[/I] won't listen what else is there?
