Personally, I stopped going to McDonald's several years ago after reading several stories of their burgers being stored on peoples mantle pieces for years at a time without deteriorating in the slightest.

I've only used one once and that was about 25 years ago in Burton on Trent one Sunday afternoon. - I swore never again!
