I used to look up to Rolf when I was a kid; I'm so disappointed in him that he abused his position.

Sad Lex, but many did. I'm frankly surprised that we haven't seen any political figures as yet... No doubt we will, once plod pulls his finger out!

I always felt there was something creepy about him. I admired his art and ability to paint with such ease but....

I see there's another 12 cases being lined up against him.

I don't hold out much hope of many politicians being prosecuted - Cyril Smith's case was suppressed, and that Lib Dem peer (can't remember his name) with wondering hands basically got away with it.

The problem is that kiddie fiddling goes right to the heart of the establishment. We're not only talking politicians, but possibly even Royalty. I think any real convictions/prosecutions/interest is very unlikely. The guilty will be protected because of their contacts/associations. Unfortunately, the lower classes are nothing more than playthings for the rich and connected.

That's why it was and will continue to be suppressed. Bottom line here, we (the plebs) are the playthings of the rich and powerful! - And we must never forget our place!

5 Years and 9 Months. It would have been more but for his age and health. This is of course not inclusive of the further cases being lined up. Taking a boat to court is to me not only bazaar but it is a blatant avoidance of facing the music and as the Judge noted he'd shown no remorse , to my mind it demonstrates it.

His age ought be irrelevant. He did the crime, he now does the time. I reckon he'll be out in about 3 years though, if not before due to his 'health'!

What really irks me though, is he won't face further charges for the allegations of downloading kiddie porn.

I see the sentence is to be referred to the Attorney General due to its leniency

It happened within minutes apparently, almost as if someone had prepared the paperwork beforehand. This sounds like a vendetta - perfectly understandable, but not quite the way justice should work.
