OK, jokes apart, this does demonstrate the folly of us going all digital. What happens when systems go down?

I was working at Ford, when our highly advanced IT system failed. We were absolutely stuck. We couldn't even use the phone system as the directories were all online and unavailable.

We really are entering an age of madness. I truly fear digital currency and how that might (or might not) work.

That's my concern about the 'Internet of Things'. If it has a 'moment', we'd all be screwed.

I was listening to a fairly long interview with Elon Musk. I will say he is interesting to listen to, even if his mind clearly runs in highly abstract, or abstracted, orbits. He was saying that his concern with AI is the inputs. That is, who controls it. His experience at Twitter said taught him he just couldn't concentrate on the vast info inputs. But he is committed to free speech.
