As their first duty is the protection of the people, I'd say that they have failed miserably and should face the courts. - It'll never happen though.

I picked up on an article (I think it was the Telegraph) where scientists admitted that fear had wrongly been used to create a compliant totalitarian state.

It seems to be an increasingly common trick.

Assuming there's a grain of truth in the article I think Bozo might be given a rough ride by some of his MPs.

I studied psychology in the early 80s, and one thing I do remember was an ex-army WO instructor telling us that it was powerful stuff and should only be used ethically. His words were that as well as create, you could easily destroy!

It looks like Bozo and his aides have not acted ethically, and worryingly, seen to have gotten a 'buzz' over it all.

A very good reason to get vaccinated; I know a lot of people who'll be very p***ed off if the country gets closed down because people refuse to have the jab: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9590709/Boris-gathers-Cabinet-amid-claims-close-nil-chance-June-21-unlocking.html

The first man in the UK to have the covid jab has passed away.

Independent

It's worth reading the 'discussion' after the article. I'm beginning to think that there are far more uncertain about these vaccines than we are being led to believe.

Rest in Peace, Bill. At his grand old age, It is difficult to prove one way or t'other whether the vaccination brought about his stroke.
I think that Prince Philip never got over the vaccination either, it made him ill. I never saw the need for him to have it aged 99. He could have continued just to take precautions.

I realised the other day that the news programmes & channels would have saves a lot of time, effort and money over the last 18 months by just showing a loop of Fraser from Dad's Army saying 'We're doomed'.

Worry about it if it happens, Lex. It's becoming rather a joke now and people are no longer amused.

I just get annoyed that these people don't seem to realise we need to just deal with it. What happened to the 'Carry on' attitude of WW2?

In those days we weren't bogged down with health and safety or snowflakes. The people of this country have become soft and rely on the tabloids to think for them. Rather a sad state of affairs all told.
