I really can't understand how people can behave like this.

Name calling and abuse is always going to happen, it did when I was at school. Things haven't changed.
Society will always have this kind of delinquent behaviour from social drop outs and ignorant misfits, who do nothing but criticise law abiding people. I often think its best just to turn the other cheek and ignore them rather than retaliate.

As a school girl I was bullied a lot until one day I lost my rag and had that gobby bitch on the floor! She was never a problem after that. But.. with grown men it can get nasty with injuries.
