Can't say I've ever used it, but on one page I was reading someone thought it used to be used for boxing/wrestling.

The Leamington Assembly has been closed down.
A bit of a bombshell for Leamington.
In a statement from the MJR Group it says: "It is with deep regret that The MJR Group has made the decision to close The Assembly in Leamington Spa with immediate effect.
