Yes, that's a lesson I learned years ago - smile nicely & nod in the right places and you can screw them over for whatever you want.

Oh yes, grab it with both hands.
In the past I've had a couple of EU grants to explore business ideas and set them up. The money is not to be sneezed at, even if those administering the funds are complete ar**holes! You just smile and play their games.
