Self interest seems to have been a recurring theme over the years. It says a lot that the only vote ALL MPs turn up to is the one where they give themselves a fat pay rise.

Re: Keir Stammer Running Scared
Many of us can remember the Labour Sleaze from the late 60s/early 70s. Unfortunately, few parties are without corruption.
I personally think that it is the opportunity to improve one's own finances that encourages many into politics.
I've personally known several politicians; they always come out of politics far richer than they went in!
Over the years, I've been asked many times why I won't enter politics. My answer has always been the same. "Because I have personal integrity, and I'm basically honest!"

Jesus, I thought the Tories were the kings of corruption & sleaze, but Labour have been running away with it for years: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... elson.html

Hopefully, the inept excuse of a man is now finished.
Burnham knew exactly what he was doing; he put Starmer in a no-win situation.
Things are about to get very interesting. Get the popcorn in.
