Re: Has prince Andrew been a naughty boy then?
I'm not terribly interested in Andrew or the rest of the Royals, But in his defence, if Andrew was visiting Epstein Island for s e x u al exploits , I can't say the girl he was involved with was under the age of consent, as the age of consent in America is from 16 to 18, and I do believe the Giuffre woman was 17 at the time. That's about as much as I know. But I can't imagine Andrew would get involved with paedophilia. He was friends with the reprobate Epstein yes, and he would have known about child trafficking going on. Why he would want to associate with despicable low life is unfathomable.

Something I know nothing about, Lex. But I am a fairly decent chap, unlike what my military friends tell me about Andrew. - I can't find anyone who served with him who has a good word to say about him.

Quote: Andrew hits back with host of demands before leaving Royal Lodge
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has seen a spectacular fall in the eyes of the public due to his friendship with the late billionaire child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has reportedly issues a string of demands before quitting the Royal Lodge.
The former prince has experienced a spectacular downfall after it emerged he had sent messages to the late paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein after he claimed to have cut off contact with him. He has since been stripped of his titles and was told to vacate the Royal Lodge in Windsor in the coming months.
He has also received a written request to appear before the US Congress to talk about his knowledge of Epstein. Andrew has strongly and consistently denied any and all allegations of any wrongdoing regarding sex with anyone underage and connected to Epstein. Source: https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/andrew-hits-back-host-demands-36213986It gets worse though. I've picked up a bit of a tale that his ex-wife is threatening a tell-all 'memoire'!

That's the end of Andy: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... lodge.htmlAlthough, he's been given a pad at Sandringham & no doubt he'll be looked after on the quiet.

Re: Has prince Andrew been a naughty boy then?
The King can't actually do this as it's Andrew's birthright... Quote: Accuser's brother urges King to strip Andrew of prince title
The brother of Virginia Giuffre has called on King Charles to strip Prince Andrew of the title "prince" after he announced he is giving up his other titles, including the Duke of York.
Ms Giuffre alleged she was forced to have sex with the prince on three occasions, including when she was aged 17 at the home of his friend Ghislaine Maxwell in London in 2001.
The prince made a financial payment to Ms Giuffre in an out-of-court settlement in 2022, after she had brought a civil case against him. He denies all the accusations against him.
Sky Roberts told BBC Newsnight his sister, who took her own life earlier this year, would be "very proud" of the latest development regarding Prince Andrew.
The prince has been under increasing pressure over his links with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with calls for Buckingham Palace to take action against him.
On Friday, the prince announced that he was deciding to voluntarily hand back his titles and to give up membership of the Order of the Garter, the oldest and most senior order of chivalry in Britain.
He will also cease be the Duke of York, a title received from his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
But Mr Roberts said he would like to see the King go a step further, saying: "We would call on the King to potentially go ahead and take out the prince in the Andrew."
"I think anybody that was implicated in this should have some sort of resolve. They should have some sort of responsibility and accountability for these survivors," he said, adding that he would "welcome any contact from the King, from members of parliament".
When Prince Andrew was born in 1960, he was automatically a prince as the son of a monarch. This could only be changed if a Letters Patent was issued by the King. Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdegkd00yz3o

Re: Has prince Andrew been a naughty boy then?
Did he jump, or was he pushed...? Quote: Prince Andrew Agrees to Stop Using Royal Titles After Talks with King
Prince Andrew has agreed to stop using his titles, including the Duke of York, following discussions with King Charles. The move marks a significant step back from royal life and comes amid renewed scrutiny of his association with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
In a statement issued by Buckingham Palace on Friday, the Prince said:
“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal family.
“I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.
“With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.” Source: https://coventryobserver.co.uk/news/prince-andrew-agrees-to-stop-using-royal-titles-after-talks-with-king-58551/

It looks he's going the same way as his (apparent!) nephew Harry, and is being slowly excluded from the Royal Family.

I had heard the guy's name but knew nothing about him. If you want to know more about Andrew, other than he's a spoilt and indulged little brat, might I suggest looking at the various forces forums, where many who served alongside him spill the beans, but wouldn't urinate on him if he were on fire.
He really is an obnoxious little turd, according to these sources.

I was very skeptical about this when I heard the report on the news, and the lunchtime news on Radio 4 has just mentioned that the accuser has a history of making stories like this up.
