I don't trust him - Farage is too much of a populist, which doesn't make for good leadership in my books. He's a bit too much like Trump as well.

I may take something like this to break the current two party state. I personally like Farage, but he can go on a bit.

Essentially they only really won on this scale because the Tory Party has more or less ceased to exist.
Yes, I could see no other way than taxes going up, so how can there be a feel good factor. The levels of debt in the country is so astronomical that its going to constrain everything they do.
Again I agree his position is actually precarious. It perhaps doesn't help also that he is extremely thick, almost remedial. Has no inherent qualities whatsoever as anyone can see, and does whatever the deep state or his handlers tell him to do.

Looking at the voting %ages, I suspect Labour are not on as firm a footing as they are currently claiming to be.

People are going to be expecting to see quick changes that make them feel better. As there's no money, that simply isn't going to happen. Any changes that are going to be made will need to be paid for and those costs will come out of our collective pockets, thus making many feel worse off than ever.

My thinking is that the two-party state have royally f*cked us over and that things need shaking up.

My bet is that Farage will end up leading a mix of the Tories (after they get slaughtered) with Penny Mourdant as his N0.2. I expect Farage to be the PM within the next few years, and I predict that Kemi Badenoch will be the first coloured female PM that we see.

Of course, many things could upset the applecart...
