Re: Brexit
Andy Crap, is going to be disappointed!

Once the electorate realises the true cost of rejoining, they will once again want to stay away.

But I doubt that the pathetic little provincial mayor sitting in No.10 has the nous to understand this!

Brexit was a complete cock-up, with problems aplenty, but the UK's economic recovery seems to be progressing better than the Eurozone's now that COVID-19 is 'out of the way': https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-58024112

I'm just glad it's almost out of the way - just the formality of getting it ratified; it's only taken four-and-a-half years.

The devil will be in the detail.

That seems to be what the EU is hinting at.

I reckon we're about to take a damned good shafting. I smell BRINO.

Good to see negotiations are going well: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55248502

!This is what we are doing...." comes across loud and clear but it is what is behind the smokescreens that we should be concerned about.

We are about to be stuffed, big time.

A slight bit of exaggeration on the part of the BBC (ONE ship's been diverted), but a hint of what we can expect from January onwards: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54908129

You can often tell a project is failing when those running it jump ship towards it scheduled conclusion. I've seen it happen several times over the years.

It really makes you wonder, Lex. And Cummings (the grand architect of Brexit) bailing out early, does little to allay my fears that the great British public are about to be expensively kippered, again.

Business are being encouraged to prepare for the big changes on 1st January 2021. If only they knew what the hell they're meant to be preparing for: https://solihullobserver.co.uk/news/times-running-out-is-your-business-ready-for-a-new-start-with-europe-25212/

I had a go at the questionnaire on the gov.uk website. Most of the 'advice' was 'you might not be able to do this or that'.

I have long thought Mark Twain knew something... 'If Voting Made a Difference, They Wouldn't Let Us Do It'
