It was definitely a pipe dream. I was listening to an interview on local radio earlier this week, and it came up that Brum Airport is nowhere near operating at full capacity; they have no hope of getting an expansion.

Not exactly unexpected though was it? Birmingham was dreaming that it could come their way.
