whiskey related...
An old GENT IS SENT BY HIS WIFE TO THE CORNER SHOP NEAR HERE EVERY MORNING while she cleans up.
HE buys a paper and a bottle of whiskey -small size. The shopkeeper was telling someone
"OLD TOM CLEANS HIS TEETH WITH WHISKEY YOU KNOW , SAYS THATS WHY HE HAS ALL HIS TEETH."
A likely story. He passes my house every day-I live on a corner with a big thick laurel hedge all around. When we do the garden we always find empty bottles. One year the man who cuts the hedge found 29 of them.
