I was chatting the barmaid up in my local up the other evening. She's a very cute Irish girl doing a cinematics degree at Belfast University. I was joking that she must be bored stiff working behind the bar, especially as she had very few customers. She grinned and pulled out her iPhone. She had taken the best picture I have ever seen of a Red Admiral butterfly. The girl clearly demonstrated that you don't need top-of-the-range equipment to get good pictures.

Looking out in the garden yesterday afternoon, I spotted an insect darting about amongst the flowers .
I couldn't get a good photo of it, but It looked like some kind of moth and I thought it looked like a Humming bird Hawk Moth. A rare sight for me indeed, as I say, it was too quick to get a photo shot, and I tried capturing by video , but it was to indistinctive to make out on the video as I didn't have it zoomed in. However, I have taken a picture from the Internet to illustrate what it looked like.

Thanks Rebbonk , I have taken note and will look into it further, very time consuming. :)

Yes, I can see YouTube on other sites, no problem, Its when I try to post on this site I noticed it doesn't show. And if I save a YouTube clip on my lap top screen , it doesn't work when I want to play it.

If you visit other sites are things OK? Can you see images posted by others on here?

I'm contemplating it, Margaret. I've had many photogenic dogs over the years, but that is a particularly nice picture.
