Although the last government was a total shambles, the economy was showing signs of stabilising. Sadly, Labour seem incapable of running a bath.
I saw a joke email last week, summarising the current government's gimmickry - "Did you know Andy Burnham is preparing to rename London 'Lower Manchester?'"

Our economy is largely based on house prices. If this is more than a 'blip', we might be in the mire.
