If I were the England manager I'd drop the current team and select a new one from players in the lower divisions. My rationale is that there'd be no prima-donnas and they'd see it as an honour to play for their country.

Of course not. It's about time these footballers earned their obscene amount of money. Because they are rich they have been kow-towed to,too much, and not told when they are rubbish. Most appear to forget what they are being paid for.They need someone like Allerdyce who says what he thinks and hopefully can bully them into shape.
