I'll take a wild guess that the family fallout was due to his trouble with the police.
I feel for the woman that found him. A mate of mine found one hanging in that park, another found one hanging along the nearby canal. Both suffered psychological problems as a result.
That's a nice park, I've often wandered through it, but even with the dog you wouldn't get me in there at night.
