Don't these people realize that it puts many from using the buses.Cheaper fares would bring more customers.Perhaps that's why,saves on cleaning dirty buses etc.Funny thing is too-the buses still run when they're empty.so drivers get paid. Not as bad as the train situation--up to 5% rise. ,Call it blackmail, they know people have to get to work, especially in London where Travellers are trapped like sardines in a Medieval-like inhuman horror. My friend moved to Newcastle on Tyne for a job with lower wages but went home with practically the same money as before, because of the cost of getting to work - on time too - in London.
