In all this publicity I didn't see much about houses for the people. All this money for grand schemes being spent to encourage visitors when there is such a shortage of homes for our own population! I believe the answer is to bring back the newly designed prefabs, just as they did after the bombing.They lasted much longer than the 20 years intended so the new hi-tec design could last 50 -75 years or more -until - if ever --the council really set their minds to building affordable rented homes again. Not everyone wants to buy.
