Little Tic Toc's ' Mum ' contacted me last night to say Thank you and fortunately that poor drowned pony wasn't him. She'd checked on my lead and was able to exclude this incident. They still haven't had any news about Tic Toc though and are now frantic and desperately sad. If anyone is linked in any way to a horse fraternity in any of its guises in any county- pass the request to search for him on. If anyone is on Facebook, please add the story to your page and share it.

I know, I had this dreadful surge of feeling, this is what drove me to ring them. I do so hope I am wrong. The Daily Mail article does offer a tiny ray of hope in that it says the poor drowned pony was a piebald. I hope they catch the fiends that did it in any case. They deserve keel hauling.

I sincerely hope this isn't the same pony. It is a heinous crime anyway but this pony is still missing. Rugby isn't that far away. I pray they get him back for this little boy.

Ps- i have rung the number shown in the Daily Mail so at least they can hopefully exclude little Tic Toc.

Beyond sickness- this is evil. They deserve the same!

Even if it was dead before being dumped it deserved to be buried in the right manner. Sad and sick.

Seeing they had to drag the poor beast from the vehicle, perhaps the pony was dead before it was dumped in the canal.

A public whipping would be too good for those responsible
