I absolutely agree with you rebbonk though the problem is, they might well begin discreetly, but would that be simply a 'leg in the door' so to speak and once in that door more will likely follow that is not quite so discreet? How long before the roller coasters, haunted rides and log flumes etc arrive?

I think this would be a step too far, unless done very discretely. Warwick is a lovely little market town with a wealth of history and culture that hadn't ought be destroyed by unnecessary commercial practices.
