I had a stroll around the local countryside; very pleasant, but a tad too warm towards the end.

I wouldn't even consider most places on a day like today. Mrs R and I didn't even venture as far as the pub.

Looks like Coventry couldn't cope, though:

Well, that was a most pleasant weekend. Plenty of Factor 50 was applied, so I've turned brown instead of red.

Having grown up in Stratford, I've learned to do the same. Any mention of a bank holiday will see most Stratfordians heading for the hills!

Lex, everyday's a holiday!

I must admit that come bank holidays I tend to stay in away from the masses. When I worked, things were different, I'd grab every piece of freedom I could, even if that meant spending half the day stuck in a car.

Early May Bank Holiday
With another Bank Holiday on the horizon, does anyone have any plans? I'm planning to meet some friends for a couple of quiet beers.
