Erm.......This may come as a shock to you..... d a h l i n g , but I don't have a telly , so I am just going to hazard a guess at your avatar . Is it J.R. Ewing ?

If so, what is the significance anyways ?

I have noticed you have used some American expressions

If you are a music artist, which venues do you perform ?

Talking about entertainment...we are going to see KEN DODD next week at THE ROYAL SPA CENTRE. We saw him last year at the same venue, and he was on sparkling form, for 5 hours !
Amazing for his age .

Cheers.

I had not intended to be presumptuous/condescending. That is just not me. It is how I read it -perhaps too quickly and answered without putting brain into gear.
Also I was trying to be funny (ha-ha funny) and I did know what you meant!

I seem to remember a tv series from a long time back called Sledge Hammer... which, would fit with your "Trust me. I know what I am doing."

Shizara you got it! Now be honest did you cheat and lookup the catchphrase? I recently re-watched a few episodes on DVD half expecting them to be rubbish (curtesy of a rose tinted memory), but they were actually very funny. I guess my sense of humour hasn't changed that much in 20 years, which is disturbing given that I'm 33.

Other favourites would be Police Squad, Married Without Children (that one doesn't seem so funny anymore, ah well), Muppet Show, err should I mention some British stuff, well there's Blackadder of course (II was he best right? I think that's universally excepted), just watched some old Fry and Laurie episodes also, all good stuff. Now has anyone been watching Modern Toss on channel 4 - probably not everyones cup of tea (putting it mildly) but very funny in places.

locster, am afraid to say I remember enjoying the TV series - we got to see that one in KiwiLand. some things are as memorable as Telly Savalas with "Who loves ya babe" and Sledge Hammer is one of them.
