On Saturday, I decided to go and visit Warwick. While there, I needed to pay a visit to the public WCs in the Market Square.
Frankly, they were the most discusting toilets I've had the misfurtune of using in a long time (only topped by some I visited in Coventry a few years ago). This was down to the fact that the tiny urinels overflow every time they go through the flush cycle, spreading uriney water all over the floor to the depth of half an inch. Come on Warwick, even Stratford can keep it's public toiltes clean! Last edited by Lex : 20-08-2007 at 09:31 AM. Reason: Spelling |

The toilets in Coventry Pool Meadow take some beating with those squelchy floors.
You can smell them from the waiting area ..and, in the corridor---combined with the aroma of frying from the cafe-----it is quite overwhelmingly...er... interesting. Last edited by cathidaw : 20-08-2007 at 04:57 PM. Reason: comma |

The Nuneaton loos by the bus station can be equally aromatic. I usually check to see if there is any loo roll before closing the door. If none I try another. I suffer migraines and the nasty bluey purple lights - I think to deter drug users - play havoc so I don't visit unless I am truly desperate and can't wait to get home.

When I am in town and need to spend a penny, I to into a pub or restaurant, or whilst in Stratford I find public conveniences pretty good, but I actually like going into the Falcon Hotel and use theirs. Nice and clean.
When I was in London and had to visit a loo, i went into Macdonalds there in Victoria , well the stench required either holding your breath or wearing some kind of breathing apparatus . And without the gory details - all of the cubicles were unfit to use. floors and seats were wet too. I then proceeded to complain to the manager and told him that these loos should be condemned and that I was unable to use them as a customer , I threatend him with reporting it to health and safety authorities. He apologized and sent someone down there to clean the place up. ![]() |
