Here's me getting so caught up in having my usual go at the Citizens of Stratters for keeping the same old rogues on the Town Council year after year, that it took a friend of mine to point out to me that 5 of them (including Porky Pig) have been given their marching orders. My cousin Ted was so chuffed he got drunk. Hurrah for local politics, it works.

Just curious who "porky pig" was..what he the guy that didn't think it particularly important to turn up for meetings when the "trivial" matter of the bridge was discussed presumably busy working from his home in Portway??

I agree. I see in the local paper this week that World Class Stratford committee is to come under scrutiny. Hurrah! Time to open the champers!
