Stratford Taxis outrageous!

I've now travelled from Birmingham to Stratford, and vice versa, both times after midnight. Here's how they compare.

Brum to Strat using Birmingham cab - £35
Strat to Brum using Stratford cab - £80

Anyone notice a slight difference? Even worse the cabbie insisted that Stratford prices were the same as everywhere else, and weren't expencive!! What kind of a joke is this?

What an absolutel rip-off!

Thought cab fares were set by local authorities. Somethings not right somewhere. What were the cab firms, do you know?
