Stratford Society?

Anyone know anything about this secretive group who appear to meet in private, yet seem to have quite an influence on the local media? Is it the political wing of the local Masons?

They're just a group of worried enthusiasts who don't want to see Stratford Ruined by bad planning.

I suspect you're talking about something more secretive though, if so I wouldn't know where to start. What has aroused your suspicions?

No - its not Stratford Voice - with whom I'm in agreement,
but a group which the local media quotes from time to time - I suspect they're a closed membership version of Stratford Voice.
Anyone know any more?

The Stratford Society & Stratford Voice are different set-ups. SS seems to have been going for years; I think (but am not sure) that they promote Stratford's general prettyness??

I don't think any of them belong to Stratford Voice.
