Default Historic Coventry schools announce they are merging

Coventry's two main private schools - Bablake School and King Henry VIII School - are to merge.

Both schools are part of Coventry School Foundation, who have hailed the move as a "strategic and ambitious plan for the future".

The fee paying schools, with a combined history of 1,150 years in the city, will merge to become known as Coventry School.

The school will open in September 2021 with the merger due to be completed by September 2022.

As a former pupil of KHVIII I can't say I feel anything.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

More a case of 'making savings to enrich those with their fingers in pies'; or am I being overly cynical again?

Well, I think money is certainly involved, Lex. My issue is that it was poor management/leadership that led them into the situation they're in. I see absolutely nothing that is going to change that leadership/management.

The first rule in turnaround situations is that the present management team must go.
