I had an interesting discussion with my local publican yesterday. We both agreed that it wasn't her place to police things and that customers must act responsibly and use common sense. She did tell me that apart from a couple of ar$eholes there had been no concerns over the weekend.

Having used the place over the last couple of days, I can only say that the locals have behaved very well whilst I was there.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

My local is opening on Saturday lunchtime - can't wait! Numbers are restricted to start with, and will slowly be increased.

I've dropped in every afternoon after walking the dog. It's been a real boon. Even the dog enjoys it. What is very noticeable, is just how much the dog has grown up in three months.

I didn't intend visiting this afternoon, but I'd forgotten to put the ingredients for ice cream in the fridge. I guess I'll make the ice cream tomorrow.
