I wouldn't dream of arguing with that. But what do you expect when there are takeaways on every corner?

These things often start in childhood. No school sports fields, a diet of fast food and ready meals... As ye sow, so do ye reap!
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

    It's not their fault, though!

    Of course not, Lex.

People refuse to accept responsibility for their own actions, it's always somebody elses fault.

Walking past McDonalds in normal times, you will always see the place full of customers with their kids enjoying some kind of a meal, and McDonalds are expanding their 'restaurant' if thats what they like to call it. McDonalds might be said to aspire to the old style American Diners, but I think that is unjustified, because the old Diners were places where you could get quite a decent meal cheaply. McDonalds, in my opinion cannot be classified as food. The idea that they are some kind of a restaurant is ridiculous.
Remember Wimpy's? they weren't that bad, the burgers were actually ok. and they did nice desserts. I have never eaten beef or hamburgers but I liked Wimpy's for other decent foods and the occasional Banana Boat.

I refuse to use Rotten Ronnies. I don't like the food, nor the typical company.

Wimpy's were good we often used to drop into one for a milkshake.
