Thank goodness for that; a step towards normalcy: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/ne...shops-18309157

Apparently, people are FOGO - Frightened Of Going Out. Beaches might be one thing, enclosed spaces are something else.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

That has to be good news. I wonder if there will be a mad scramble to get appointments at the hairdresser to fix the home DIY hair dos.
    Cool

    Not me!

I bought a set of clippers years ago and twice a month I run them over my bonce. Keeping it short, it doesn't look quite as grey!

I cut my own hair too, and I think I shall try it again as it looked ok, save my self around £14 to £16 , depending on which hairdresser charges. I can't understand why blokes only pay around £7, or £10 quid for a hair cut and ladies cuts are more expensive.
I did purchase clippers about 3 years ago for my husband, he and my son have used them while on lockdown.

I think I paid about £14 for my clippers 20 years ago. They've paid for themselves many times over.

I think it's going to be a long time before things are 'normal'.

But, I'll settle for the pubs re-opening so I can enjoy a few afternoons watching the boats go by.

Pubs beer gardens will be open from sometime in July, apparently.

I hope so, though I'll not go holding my breath. Just my luck the weather will turn wet, so beer garden or not, I won't be getting any.

Pubs could start reopening in as little as 2 weeks: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/wh...-pubs-18379659

I've been reading a lot about this, Lex. But will they have any stock if it's true?

A trade 'insider' has stated that it'll take 2 weeks to restock the pubs (assuming that the brewers are already stocked up), but that pubs haven't been allowed to place orders as yet.

I think lager has a long shelf life, and I imaging wine etc will still be ok. It could take a while for real ale stocks to build up again.

I don't drink lager, Lex. I'll drink wine at home but not in my local - I have an image to keep up you know! So I guess it'll be spirits for me if that's the case. Worse things happen.
