Going on the figures in Coventry Telegraph's article, north of the county will be Tier 3, Coventry & central Warwickshire will be Tier 2, and Stratford District will be Tier 1 when the current lockdown ends: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/ne...after-19334005

That's me in for a lonely, dry Christmas then!

Being cynical, is it just Tory strongholds that become tier 1?
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

That's something I've been wondering for a while.

It wasn't really a shock to me, I'd been fearing it. What annoys me is the hypocrisy of it all and the distinct feel that certain areas are being 'punished'.

London, tier 2? Someone's extracting the proverbial.

That's how a lot of people are seeing things, Lex.

Parliament is voting on this on Tuesday. I reckon there's going to be a lot of arm twisting going on over the next few days.

I'm getting the feeling the Conservatives won't be too popular come the next election; the whips will probably be making the most of any votes they can win now!!

Good to see Nadhim Zahawi having something to say (finally!!): https://www.stratford-herald.com/113...trictions.html

A few local politicians don't seem to be happy about the Tier 3 rating: https://www.leamingtoncourier.co.uk/...d-tier-3050761

TBH, Lex, how that imbecile ever became PM is beyond me. The man is a complete joke.

Graham Brady would (IMO) have made a far better PM.

Nadhim Zahawi's landed the job of organising the vaccinations. Haven't heard another peep from him about Tier 3, strangely: https://www.stratford-herald.com/113...-minister.html

He even voted for the new rules: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/ne...voted-19383993 . A case of putting career before constituents methinks.

He also mooted that life might be 'difficult' for those that don't have the vaccinations.

    Frankly, I think the man's a prize ar$ehole.
