Not a lager drinker either. Got my fingers crossed that the breweries can start ramping production up quickly.

Despite me working at breweries (I was teaching process improvement) I actually have no idea how long it takes to make a batch of beer.

I think the best we can hope for is early July, only another month, Lex. I do hope they drop this 2m distancing though; if they don't, I see plenty of pubs remaining shut. There's no point in them opening if they can't make money!
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

From what I remember of the brewery tours, it usually takes 5-6 days, depending on how strong the beer is.

On that basis, Lex, we need to keep a close eye on the brewers.

Hopefully, they'll already have the wheels turning!

Breweries across the country have restarted their cask ale operations as pubs get ready to reopen this summer, with 4 July earmarked as the earliest date this could be allowed.

Stratford's MP finally has something to say, if only for a photo opportunity: https://www.stratford-herald.com/110...e-re-open.html

Not many voters in the Stratford constituency are, but it's the type of area that'll vote for a sack of spuds if someone pins a blue rosette on it.

Coventry's the same. Pin a red rosette on a pig and it'd get voted in. Oh wait a minute...
