What people don't realise is that if they and another vehicle have a head-on at 30mph that's the same as if they hit a solid wall at 60mph - And that does some damage!
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

I doubt all the money they've raked in will stop the police putting their share of the Council Tax up, though!

On one of the community pages I use, some are calling for action to be taken on a couple of our industrial estates due to speeding motorists.

I really don't understand it. Speeding costs you petrol and you don't really save any time. Why bother?

Sadly, I believe it's more about revenue generation than curing bad driving

    Parties at friends homes.

This closing the pubs will not stop people socialising, which is one reason why the supermarkets saw a rush on booze Friday evening.

However, I see a new habit forming of meeting in homes: so I wonder, once things die down and pubs re-open how many will survive the following 12 months? I think the pub industry will take some kick-starting!

I tend to get muddled now with advancing age, but someone please correct me. Have we ever had a scenario like this in Britain in living memory (that's for us baby boomers who missed the last European tour 1939 etc)? Am I the only one to be thinking, if this then what next.

I'm with you Mister H. We are largely into the unknown.

Far too many people are making 'best guesses' at the moment. And as a once professional problem solver (really!), I know that jumping before you really understand, can make a bad situation far worse.

    As an example Mister H...

While regularly washing your hands and using hand sanitiser can reduce transmission of the virus, experts are now warning that overdoing it can actually increase your risk of infection.
